And Baby Makes 4

If you haven't heard yet, we are having a baby!!  While Justin & I are super excited, Landon can't decide if he wants to be a big brother or not and the fact that he keeps catching mommy on all fours in front of the toilet doesn't seem to help.  While I'm praying for a little girl, I will be happy with either, but I think I'll have to start drinking some energy drinks if it's a boy as crazy as Landon or I'll be left in the dust.  I might have to turn into one of those parents who keep their kids on a backpack leash...Eeek!!

In the midst of all the nausea, boy/girl speculation and figuring out to rearrange the house for a new nursery, in the back of my mind I can't help, but think about the possibility of this baby having CF.  With each pregnancy there is a 25% chance that the child will have CF, 50% chance the child will be a carrier and 25% chance that they will not carry the CF gene.  While I pray this baby is healthy and will not have to fight this disease every day, I know that God will not give Justin & I more than we can handle.  I already feel so blessed and humbled that God has entrusted us with Landon's care.  Even though his personality is just beginning to come out I know that God is going to use him in such a great way.  He may not want to be a big brother, but he already has so much to teach a younger sibling.

One thing is certain, come July 5th, give or take a few days, our world is going to be rocked once more as we bring another Jones into this world!!  Everyone brace yourself!!
